School Data - Chirbury
KS2 Performance DataEach year, the progress of our children and our school is measured nationally with a series of tests and assessments. Children are assessed at the end of the Reception Year; at the end of Year One; at the end of Year Two and at the end of Year Six. We publish these results so that you can see how well our children do compared to the national averages. It is really important to know that in a very small school such as ours, one child can represent a large percentage and so data does fluctuate over time.
I am delighted to report that during the school year , our children and school performed extremely well and in the majority of areas this achievement was significantly better than the national average. Please take a little time to read through the tables of information below; if you have any questions or queries, please get in touch. We are pleased that Ofsted have recognised that tests and data are just a small part of what we do in schools and from September 2019 onwards, will be looking closely at every aspect of school life when judging schools. During this term, we are looking forward to an Ofsted inspection to show our school at its best. I will shortly send you a link to the Ofsted website so that you can share your views about our school. Ofsted will take these into account before visiting us in the near future. A huge well done to all of our children and staff members for such fantastic achievements last year; we look forward to continuing this success in the future. Kind regards Les Ball Federation Headteacher
